Opening and artist's talk at Chant

MILFORD —There will be complimentary wine & cheese art premiere on Saturday, Apr. 12 -from 5 to 8 p.m. at Davis R. Chant Realtors, 106 E. Harford Street, Milford. The evening will feature an artist’s talk at 6:30 p.m., by featured artists Eric Pavinich and Cheryl McClafferty. Cheryl McClafferty studied art and design at Philadelppia University and received her BS in graphic design. Since graduating she has been a full time graphic designer working in Philly and Barryville, NY. She will exhibit her “Flower Collection” which is done in the medium colored pencils and displays radiant colors along with strong contrasts. Eric Pavinich recognized his artistic abilities at a very young age. Eric’s medium is woodburning, also known as pyrography. His interest is in historic or older structures and animals. He is currently working on a series of Historic buildings and structures of Pike County. He does custom work, buildings, pets, and landscapes.
