Parade your pooch at Riverfest

NARROWSBURG, N.Y. — The 2007 RiverFest, a festival of music, art and ecology, kicks off Sunday, July 22, at 10 a.m. on Narrowsburg’s Main Street with River Dogs on Parade, emceed by local author John Marchese. Parade prizes will be awarded for Most Creative, Funniest, and Best in Show. Prizes will be distributed at River Dog Organic Pet Supply at 22 Main Street. Judges will be Kevin McDonough, Jenny Finch, and Elizabeth Kubenik. Those wishing to participate in the dog parade/contest can pre-register at the Arts Alliance at 37 Main Street in Narrowsburg through Saturday, July 21. Those registering on Sunday should do so at 9:30 a.m. at the Narrowsburg Central School on Erie Street. There is a $10 registration fee. Registration forms are available at www.ArtsAllianceSite.org.
