Pike County Choral Society ready for holiday season performances

    MILFORD - The Pike County Choral Society is now rehearsing for the holiday season. On Saturday, Dec. 2, the fifth Annual Holiday Concert will be presented at the Church at Hemlock Farms at 7 p.m. It will consist of a variety of traditional and sacred holiday music. The cost is $5 per person, at the door. Plan on staying after the concert for delicious refreshments which will be served by the choral society. Mark your calendars now for the G. F. Handel “Messiah Sing-a-long” on Dec. 10. This event will be at 6 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Milford, The cost is $5. abd the proceeds will go to the Milford Ecumenical Food Pantry. Come and sing-a-long with the Choral Society for an evening of beautiful music in celebration of the festive holiday season. Membership in the choral society is open to all. Rehearsals are at the First Presbyterian Church, 308 Broad Street in Milford, at 7 p.m., every Monday evening. The Choral Society meets throughout the year, and the schedule for the upcoming year is already being planned.
