MILFORD — Local residents and military veterans participated in the Memorial Day parade on Monday, May 25 that wound through the streets of Milford to the cheers and applause from onlookers.
Memorial Day is a federal holiday in the United States for remembering the people who died while serving in the country's armed forces.
The Memorial Day parade began at the Ann Street Park and ended at the War Memorial on Broad Street. Several guest speakers spoke. And a wreath laying ceremony was also conducted at the War Memorial.
