Renowned trio at Muir House for one night

    MILFORD — On Friday, May 1, the Muir House will welcome Ronnie Penque, Chris Penque and Gary Sanguinetti for a one-night-only performance. The trio is led by Ronnie Penque, bassist and lead vocalist for the New Riders of the Purple Sage, a world-renowned jam band born of the beatnik/psychedelic rock scene in 1970s San Francisco, along with Ronnie’s brother Chris Penque of the Ronnie Penque Band, and Gary Sanguinetti of Friday Muir favorite, the Wooden Spoon Band. Longtime friends and accomplished musicians, the trio promises to provide a can’t-miss live experience for music lovers of any persuasion. The show is set to begin at 9 p.m. There is no charge for those dining at the restaurant that evening; $5 music charge for tickets purchased in advance; $8 music charge for tickets purchased at the door. Advanced purchase is highly recommended as the venue is expected to fill up quickly.
