Riverfest makes a splash this Sunday

— Riverfest, the annual street festival celebrating local artists and the Upper Delaware's natural beauty, comes to Main Street in Narrowsburg, N.Y., on Sunday, July 24, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
A full day of events is planned:
10 a.m.: River Dogs on Parade. Creatively attired pooches promenade in front of a panel of judges while our emcee offers running commentary. Arrive by 9:45 am for pre-registration).
10:30 a.m.: Music on the Main Stage with Jazzmosis, playing jazz-rock fusion. Featuring Mike Cervone, Greg Fiske, Steve Schwartz, and Tom Volpe.
12:30 p.m.: Poster auction. Live (and lively) auction of original Riverfest posters created by local artists.
2:30 p.m.: Music on the Main Stage with Stacy & Friends, playing folk and rock. Featuring Stacy Cohen, Peter Florance, Don Knothe, and special guests.
Ongoing attractions throughout the day:
50-plus artists and artisans selling original works including jewelry, pottery, paintings, textiles, glass, and more.
Booths promoting the environment and energy efficiency.
Premiere of a new virtual tour of the Upper Delaware Scenic and Recreational River.
Expanded food court behind the National Bank of Delaware County.
Main Street eateries, shops, and art galleries.
Kids’ Korner in the area between the Delaware Arts Center and the post office.

River Dogs on Parade

River Dogs on Parade brings out pups of all sizes and shapes showing off their best finery. Pooches and their owners parade from the Narrowsburg Feed and Grain and continue to the Main Street Bandstand. All dogs must be leashed.
Registration is $10 and may be made in advance by stopping in the Delaware Arts Center, 37 Main St., Narrowsburg, N.Y. Onsite registration is also available starting at 9:30 a.m. in front of Narrowsburg Feed and Grain.

Parking

Free parking is provided at the Fireman’s field/ball field on DeMauro Lane, with free shuttle service to the Tusten Theatre (provided again this year with assistance from First Student).
Riverfest is presented by Delaware Valley Arts Alliance and sponsored by Catskill Regional Medical Center,along with media partner WSUL/WVOS-FM.
