Senior art students at ESU to exhibit their work
EAST STROUDSBURG — The art works and portfolios of selected students will be shown at the Senior Seminar and Portfolio in Art Student Exhibition, to be held from April 20 to May 4, at the Madelon Powers Gallery of East Stroudsburg University.
The exhibition will include student-produced works for clients as part of ESU's student design agency, New Mind Design, and comic art created at recent Comic Thons.
Alexandra Paino, a senior from Milfordwho is majoring in psychology with a minor in studio art, will be among the students exhibiting capstone or independent study projects.
The gallery is located in the university’s Fine and Performing Arts Center, Normal and Marguerite streets, East Stroudsburg. Hours are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesdays and Thursdays; and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays.
A reception to meet the artists will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, April 20, in the gallery. Both the exhibit and reception are free and open to the public.
