Siptroth will host veterans

BUSHKILL — State Rep. John Siptroth, will host a war veterans recognition ceremony from 2 to 4:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 28 at the Pocmont Resort in Bushkill. The ceremony will honor World War II, Korean War and Vietnam War veterans who live in the 189th Legislative District. In recognition of their sacrifices, each veteran will be presented with a House of Representatives certificate of appreciation and commemorative medal. Over the past few months, Siptroth has reached out to various war veterans and veterans’ organizations in Monroe and Pike counties and has received many responses. Those who would like additional information or wish to RSVP for the event are asked to contact Nancy Withrow in Siptroth’s Marshalls Creek office at 570-223-2636 by Sept. 12.
