NARROWSBURG, N.Y. — Delaware Valley Arts Alliance presents an exciting evening of multimedia, improvisation, and theatrical demonstrations by the internationally renowned Margolis Brown Adaptors Company. Sit on the edge of your seats as the magic of creating original theater unfolds before your eyes. Laugh, cry and even learn a little — you will never look at theatre the same again! It all happens on Saturday, June 20 at 8 p.m. at Tusten Theatre, 210 Bridge Street, Narrowsburg, N.Y. Stay after the show for refreshments and an informal chat with the performers. Margolis Brown Adaptors Company was founded in New York City in 1983 by award-winning artistic directors Kari Margolis and Tony Brown. The Company’s fourteen original, large-scale productions have toured nationally and to Berlin, London, Sigapore, and throughout Canada and Mexico. Margolis Brown has also created site-specific events for such places as the Brooklyn Museum, the beach at Coney Island, N.Y., and the Minnesota Science Museum. The work of Margolis and Brown has been recognized with six Fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts, a N.Y. Foundation for the Arts Fellowship, a “Bessie,” a Pew/TCG National Artist Fellowship, a Creative Capital National Artist Fellowship, and several McKnight Foundation Fellowships among several other prestigious awards. Margolis and Brown’s original, ensemble theatre productions combine an emotionally charged physicality with the unusual use of everyday objects, spectacular multimedia imagery, text, song, and magic. The performance is directed by Kari Margolis, with original music by Tony Brown.
