'Strut Your Culture' at first multicultural parade

EAST STROUDSBURG — The African American Network will host its first annual multicultural parade, titled “Strut Your Culture,” from 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 24, in East Stroudsburg.
The parade will highlight and celebrate the cultural diversity of the Poconos. Line-up is at 9:30 am at East Stroudsburg South High School. The parade ends at East Stroudsburg University. All members of the community are invited to bring their flags and join the festivities.
The African American Network’s mission is to provide opportunities for networking, education, and economic development to promote unity among residents and improve the quality of life of those living in and around the Pocono Mountain Region through scholarships, educational programs, and charitable donations.
