Supper is kickoff for event season

BLOOMING GROVE — The Blooming Grove Township. Volunteer Fire Department will be starting up their 2010 annual Fundraising events on Saturday, Feb. 20 with a “Soup-R-Supper”. They will be serving soup, salad, bread, coffee, cake, cold drinks. There will be 3 kinds of soup, and it’s “all you can eat,” chicken & rice; split pea and cream of broccoli. The cost is $8 for adults and $4 for children 10 and under. Kids under 3 are free. Soup-R-Supper will be held at the fire hall at 484 state Route 739, one mile north of Interstate Highway-84 in Lords Valley, from 4 to 7 p.m. Soup-R-Supper is the first event of the 2010 department calendar. Coming up next on March 14, plan on attending their St Patrick’s Dinner, from 1-5 p.m.
