'Toast to Elaine' celebrates arts alliance founder upon her retirement

, N.Y. — After 42 years, Elaine Giguere, founder of the Delaware Valley Arts Alliance in Narrowsburg, N.Y., is retiring from her post as executive director.
The arts alliance will pay tribute to Giguere for her four decades of steadfast service in promoting culture and the arts in the Upper Delaware River Valley. All are invited to join “A Toast to Elaine” from 6 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, June 17, at the Narrowsburg Union, 7 Erie Ave., Narrowsburg.
Special events will showcase the arts community, including a silent auction of works by area artists and a selection of music, curated by Giguere, of her favorite Tusten Theatre performances over the years.
Tickets are available now for $50, which includes drinks and an array of small bites provided by local chefs and restaurants.
All attendees will receive a keepsake journal comprised of well wishes, photos, and memories submitted by members of the community.
Partygoers can expect a few festive surprises along the way to honor Giguere and her legacy.
