Visitors carve out time for wood fest

MILFORD — Despite the heat and humidity, ample crowds turned out to the Festival of Wood at Grey Towers the first weekend in August.
Some attendees came with questions for Peter Wulfhurst, an active birder a board member of the Gifford Pinchot Audubon Society and Randall Brown, President of the chapter.
The flutists Carla Auld and Elise Carter played at the gazebo in Ann Street Park during the Kindred Spirits Classical Music Celebration on Aug. 6.
