Warwick Valley Quilters installs officers

WARWICK, N.Y. — The Warwick Valley Quilters Guild held its annual holiday luncheon and installation of new officers on Dec. 8.

Officers for 2016 are:
President — Susan Krieger of Salisbury Mills, N.Y.

Vice President — Sandy Pason of New Windsor, N.Y.

Secretary — Carol Hausler of Campbell Hall, N.Y.

Treasurer — Carol L. Johnson of Shohola, Pa.

Trustee — Anne Sigler of Stockholm, N.J.

These officers will assume office at the January business meeting.

Attending the luncheon were representatives from Orange County Children's Services, Anne Marie Myruski and Brooke Livingston. As in previous years, they were there to receive donations from Guild members: 200 drawstring bags to be used by the children for their personal items. In addition hand-knitted hats, brushes and combs, toothbrushes, coloring books, reading books and other toys were also donated for the children.

The Warwick Valley Quilters Guild meets on the second and fourth Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the Warwick Senior Meeting Hall (behind Warwick Town Hall), at 132 Kings Highway, Warwick, N.Y.
