Gobi gets an assembly
Milford. Dion Leonard encountered a small dog in the Gobi Desert, whom he named Gobi and then made the dog the subject of a children’s book. Leonard read it to students at Delaware Valley Elementary School.

Delaware Valley Elementary School recently held an assembly for a dog named Gobi and his owners and friends, Dion and his wife Lucja Leonard. Dion Leonard is the author of Finding Gobi: The True Story of a Little Dog and an Incredible Journey. He is a marathon runner who met Gobi in the Gobi desert. He read his book to the students of Delaware Valley Elementary School who then had a chance to meet Gobi.
