— Emilia Cullen made her appearance at 3:10 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 2, to become the first baby born at Wayne Memorial Hospital in 2019.
Proud parents Sara and Jameson Cullen from Lakewood, Pa., with the help of certified nurse midwife Christina MacDowell of WMH's Women’s Health Center, welcomed Emilia to their now family of four. At birth she weighed 8 pounds, 8 ounces, and measured 21 inches long.
Son Declan was born 22 months ago — on March 17, 2017, at Wayne Memorial Hospital aided by certified nurse midwife Pat Konzman.
Natasha Freethy, RN, presented a gift basket for the first baby from the New Beginnings Birthing Suites. It was filled with baby goodies — a variety of hats, blankets, bibs, book, a bank, and lotion for the new mom.
