Church partners with Tents For Haiti Project

    MILFORD — The people in Haiti are in need of tents. Long Meadow Chapel of Milford, is partnering with Tents for Haiti and the Word FM radio station to provide help to the Haitian people by collecting tents, tarps, blankets, sheets, and sleeping bags to help keep those who are without shelter safe, warm, and dry, especially during the country’s season. Most families are living under sheets or tarps, with little to no protection from the elements. Please join their effort by making a donation of any of the following items: Tents: 4 person or larger, in new or good condition, with all parts Tarps: 8’ x 10’ or larger, to protect the tents from the elements Blankets: new or used in good condition & clean, fleece are fine Sheets: any size, new or used in good condition and clean Sleeping bags: clean, new or used in good condition Gift Cards: in any amount, to stores that sell any of the items listed above, so we may go and purchase these items Please contact Long Meadow Chapel at 570-828-2082 with questions or for more information.
