Employee wins achievement award

MILFORD – Traci Vennie, of Tafton, received an award from Maternal and Family Health Services, Inc., for submitting a winning idea in the agency’s Caught Caring Rewards and Recognition Program. Traci is a nutritionist at the MFHS Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Nutrition Center in Milford. The MFHS Caught Caring Program encourages employees to submit workable ideas that result in cost savings, improved productivity and customer service. Vennie was rewarded for her idea to save money and paper by converting to an electronic/on-line system to distribute payroll stubs throughout the agency’s 16 county network of health and nutrition centers. She received a $100 award along with a certificate of appreciation from MFHS. Maternal and Family Health Services is a non-profit health and human service organization working to improve the health of Pennsylvania women and children by offering programs that prevent disease, promote wellness, and empower individuals to make positive choices about their health.
