High Holiday leaders appointed

    Hemlock Farms — The Jewish Fellowship of Hemlock Farms is pleased to announce the appointments of Cantor Charles Osborne and Rabbi Pautette Posner as pulpit leaders for this year’s High Holiday Services of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. Cantor Osborne, the new spiritual leader of the Jewish fellowship, is an internationally recognized cantor, composer and conductor. Listed in “Who’s Who in America” and a member of ASCAP, he has performed his work in such venues as Carnegie Hall, Alice Tuliy Hall, Avery Fisher Hall, in Europe, Israel and many cities throughout the United States. He comes to us from Newton, Massachusetts where he was a renowned cantor for the past 20 years. Rabbi Posner is familiar to those who attended last year’s High Holiday services, where she served as pulpit leader. She is presently educational director of United Synagogues of America Metropolitan Region, An ordained graduate of the Jewish Theological Seminary of America, Rabbi Posner has served in congregations in New York City. Both Cantor Osborne and Rabbi Posner have expressed delight that they will co-officiate at this year’s services.
