Joseph Addvensky recognized during Honors Week

    — Joseph Addvensky of Milford was inducted into Phi Eta Sigma during Honors Week at Widener University in March.

    Phi Eta Sigma is a freshman honor society. Any first-year student with a GPA of at least 3.5 on a 4 scale at the end of a full curricular period is eligible for membership.

    Founded at the University of Illinois in 1923, Phi Eta Sigma is the oldest and largest freshman honor society and now has more than 375 chapters throughout the United States.

    Widener University in Chester, Pa., is a private, metropolitan university that connects curricula to social issues through civic engagement.
