Mendoza to attend Columbia

MILFORD - Raul Mendoza, a senior graduating this June 2006 from Phillips Exeter Academy in Exeter Hampshire, has been accepted to be part of the Class of 2010 at Columbia University in New York City. Columbia University had an acceptance rate of 11% for the incoming freshman class. Currently, Mendoza is interning in Washington in congressional studies,as part of the Phillips Exeter Academy curriculum. When his parents visited recently, he was able to take them on a private tour of the Capitol Building. Security was stringent in Washington, but the intern was able to show his parents many parts of the Capitol, not accessible to other visitors. Raul is the son of Mr.and Mrs.Roberto Mendoza of Milford. He plans to pursue his studies in Foreign Affairs while at Columbia University.
