World youth Day pilgrims Fundraiser MILFORD — People Helping People of Saint Patrick’s Church along with the World Youth Day pilgrims of Saint Patrick’s and Saint Joseph’s churches will be having a flea market on Saturday July 31, at the Saint Patrick’s Church Hall, East High and Fourth Street, Milford, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will also be baked goods and lunch items available for sale. Twenty-one pilgrims will be traveling to Madrid for World Youth Day in 2011. There they will also see Pope Benedict XVI. All proceeds from this event will be shared between People Helping People and World Youth Day 2011. Brown fundraiser at the Legion MILFORD — There will be a family barbecue and fundraiser in support of Rosemary Brown for state representative, to be held on Aug. 8, from 2 to 7 p.m., Tickets are: $20 single; $30 couple; children 13-18, $10; kids under 12 are free. The event will be at the American Legion Post 139, state Route 2001, Milford. Township firefighters breakfast DINGMAN — The Dingman Township Volunteer Fire Department will be having a breakfast on Sunday, Aug. 1, from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. The menu served buffet style includes: eggs, French toast, pancakes, bacon, sausage, taylor ham, home fries, coffee, tea and wonderful desserts. The price for breakfast is: $6 for adults, $3 for children 3-12 and kids under 3 are free. The fire station is located at 680 Log Tavern Road.
