Help paint pike purple . volunteer MILFORD Safe Haven of Pike County, a non-profit domestic violence and sexual assault crisis center in Milford is looking for volunteers for its largest public awareness campaign, Paint Pike Purple (PPP). Held in October during Domestic Violence Awareness Month, PPP is designed to increase public knowledge of domestic violence issues through events and collaborations with organizations and businesses. The agency is seeking volunteers to help with this important program. This year, Safe Haven is focusing on people, and pets. If you are interested in aiding Safe Haven’s mission by becoming a volunteer, please contact Safe Haven’s Volunteer Coordinator, Jennifer Doherty. Call 570-296-2827. Pike County Developmental Center TRICKY TRAY MILFORD The PCDC will sponsor a benefit tricky tray on Saturday, Sept 18, at the Delaware Valley High School Cafeteria. Doors open at 4 p.m. and calling starts at 6 p.m. There will be trays, grand prizes, a 50/50 raffle, food and beverages. Admission is free and proceeds benefit PCDC participants.
