Agnes M. Lippi

Agnes M. Lippi, of Honesdale, Pa., died on Monday, Sept. 17, 2012, at her daughter’s home in Greenwood Lake.
Born in Brooklyn, New York, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary O’Connor Wood.
She was married to George A. Lippi, who died in 2011.
A homemaker, Agnes formerly worked for a bank in New York City in the city’s first skyscraper. She was a parishioner of St. Ann’s Roman Catholic Church in Shohola, Pa., and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of EMT’s in Lackawaxen, Pa.
Survivors include her son, George Lippi of Greenwood Lake; daughters, Agnes Lippi Johnson and her husband, Michael, of Honesdale, Pa., and Fern Parent and her husband, Gus Benjou, of Greenwood Lake, N.Y.; two brothers, John Wood of Mattituck, N.Y., and Joseph Wood of Lords Valley, Pa.; ten grandchildren, Jessica Kelly, Georgia Brown, Sumara Shaw, Jessica Thomas, Alicia Lore, Samantha Parent, Veronica Benjou, Lora Benjou, Alexandra Lippi and George Lippi III; five great-grandchildren: Joseph Lippi, Marc Shaw Jr., Liana Shaw, Kaden Brown and Alyvia Lore.
She was predeceased by a son, Francis Lippi and brothers, Eugene Wood and Francis Wood.
A Funeral Mass was held Sept. 20 at Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, Greenwood Lake, N.Y.
