Arthur D. Moriarty, 65, of Milford, Pa., passed away on Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at home surrounded by his loving family after a long battle of Parkinson’s with Lewy Body Dementia. He worked as a glazier until retirement in New Jersey and Pa. He was a beloved and caring husband, uncle, and friend.

Artie loved his dogs and cats, watching westerns with his wife, hanging out with his nephew Bo, the wildlife, fishing and boating on his lake, riding his quad, wood working, making bird houses, listening to classic rock, and telling stories to those who would listen. Artie was an enthusiastic NY Mets fan.

The son of the late Arthur Moriarty, Artie was born July 2, 1958, in Hoboken, NJ. Arthur was married to Lisa Harris-Moriarty of Milford, Pa.

Arthur is survived by his loving wife Lisa; nephew Bo Haase and wife Rhianna at home, sister Patricia Moriarty at home, brother Thomas Moriarty of Glassboro, NJ, brother-in-law Bill Harris and wife Victoria of Port Jervis, NY, sister-in-law Marcy Haase and husband Bobby of Vernon, NJ, niece Casie Haase and husband Justin of Vernon, NJ, and nephew Brandon Haase of Vernon, NJ. He was the great uncle to James, Adrianna, and his buddy Brody. Artie will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew him.

A celebration of Artie’s life will be held at the Dingman Township Fire Department, 680 Log Tavern Road, Milford, PA 18337, on March 16, 2024, at 2 to 6 p.m. with a service at 3:30 p.m. being officiated by Bill Harris.
