Barbara Ann Tichenor

Barbara Ann Tichenor of Milford, Pa., died on Thursday, Dec. 31, 2015, at Newton Memorial Hospital, Newton, N.J. She was 77.

Daughter of the late Salvatore and Marie (Seno) Choida, she was born Jan. 29, 1938, in Staten Island, N.Y. She was married to John Tichenor Feb. 1, 1959, in Staten Island.

She was a retired vice president for Staten Island Savings Bank, Staten Island, N.Y., and a member of St. Patrick’s Church, Milford.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Timothy Tichenor of Brick, N.J., Thomas Tichenor of Milford; daughter, Cynthia Everson of Milford; two sisters, Dorothy Reilly of Milford, Rosemarie D’Ambra of Waynesboro, Pa.; seven grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

Visitation was held at Stroyan Funeral Home in Milford on Jan. 5. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Patrick's Church, Milford.
