Catherine Fragakos

Catherine Fragakos, formerly of Milford, died on Thursday, July 9, 2015, in Virginia Beach, Va. She was 90.

Daughter of the late George and Irene (Xenakis) Conidaris, she was born Dec. 1, 1924, in New York, N.Y. She was married to the late Damianos Fragakos.

Survivors include her son, Nicholas Divaris, and his wife, Helen, of Virginia Beach, Va.; daughter, Irene Amitsis of Rutherford, N.J.; three brothers, Matthew Conidaris, Robert Conidaris, and Apollo Pelalas; sister, Liberty Voulgarakis; three grandchildren, Angelo and his wife, Josephine, Andrea and her husband, Kevin, and Liberty and her husband, Ethan; eight great-grandchildren; and her beloved dog Bau. She was predeceased by her identical twin, Angelina.

Visitation was held at Stroyan Funeral Home in Milford on July 12. Funeral services were held at Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church in Stroudsburg on July 13. Burial followed in Milford Cemetery, Dingman Township.
