    Charlotte Theresa Schof of Matamoras died on Sunday, Jan. 10, 2016, at home surrounded by her family. She was 83.

    Daughter of the late Charlotte Marie O’Callahan and Charles Reynolds, she was born March 10, 1932, in Brooklyn.

    On Sept. 18, 1954, in Santa Monica, Calif., she married the love of her life, Joseph P. Schof, who predeceased her on Sept. 28, 2007. After desperately missing him for eight years, she gets to rejoin him.

    She attended Santa Monica Community College and was a retired bookkeeper for Hosking Electric of Port Jervis. She is a parishioner of St. Joseph’s Church in Matamoras, but most recently of St. Ann’s Church, Shohola. She was a member of the Westfall Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.

    She was predeceased by her sister, Joan Kingdon and her brother, John Reynolds.

    Survivors include her daughter, Charlotte A. Schof and her spouse, Carol Dineen; her brother, Charles Reynolds and his wife, Patricia; her brothers-in-law, Howard Kingdon and John Schof; and several nieces and nephews.

    The family thanks Twin Cedars Senior Living in Shohola for their extraordinary care for the last several years, especially Tara, Debbie, Michelle, Heather, Elaine and all the compassionate staff. Her family also thanks Belle Reve and Compassionate Care Hospice for making her last week’s comfortable.

    A Mass of Christian Burial was to be celebrated at St. Joseph’s Church, Matamoras, on Thursday, Jan. 14, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Thomas Major officiating.
