Donald C. Baron

Donald C. Baron, Sr., 68, late of Sunrise Lakes, Milford, PA died Saturday, Oct. 4, 2014 at Saint Joseph’s Center, Port Jervis, N.Y.

Baron was a Laboratory Technician at Zymet, Inc., East Hanover, N.J. and had served 18 years in the United States Army Reserve with the 300th Field Hospital, Wilkes Barre.

Baron was born in Kingston, on Oct. 21, 1945 to the late Carl and Catherine (Homnick) Baron. On Dec. 29, 1965 in Sowyersville, he married the former Sandra Ruzicki.

Survivors include his wife Sandra; one son Donald Baron, Jr. of Duryea; three daughters Kerri Ruck f Forks Township, Wendy Barley of North Dinwiddie, Va. and Jessica Baron of Nanticoke; five grandchildren Nicole, David, Victoria, Lana and Donald: two brothers Carl Baron of West Wyoming and Ronald of Hanover Township.

Funeral arrangements made by Stroyan funeral Home, Inc., 405 West Harford Street, Milford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saint Vincent DePaul Church, Milford on Wednesday, Oct. 8 at 10 a.m. with Rev. Paul Mullen officiating. Cremation will follow at the MacLennan Hall Crematorium, Milford.
