Evelyn Ruff

Evelyn Ruff of Milford died on Saturday Feb. 21, 2015, at Karen Ann Quinlan Home For Hospice in Newton, N.J.

Daughter of the late Theodore and Josephine Tilliack, she was born on July 5, 1920, in River Edge, N.J.

Survivors include her son, Robert G. Ruff Jr. of Jordan, N.Y.; sister, Mildred Grace of Milford; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Robert G. Ruff Sr., on March 16, 1994, and four sisters.

Visitation was scheduled to be held at Stroyan Funeral Home in Milford from 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 24. Funeral services will follow at the funeral home at 7:30 p.m., with the Rev. Ben Willis officiating. Burial will take place at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, N.J., at the convenience of the family.
