George D. Stahl

George D. Stahl, 80, of Milford, Pa., passed away Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2016 at Orange Regional Medical Center, Wallkill, N.Y.
George served his country in the U.S. Army and was a policeman in the Union City Police Department, Union City, N.J., and the State of New Jersey Medal of Honor recipient.
The son of the late Leonard and Elizabeth (Dowd) Stahl, he was born June 28, 1936 in Jersey City, N.J. He was married to Judith “Judy” (Thomas) Stahl.
He is survived by his wife; one son, Michael Stahl; one daughter, Raeanne Hempel; two sisters, Helen Jouas and Shirley Catlow; and several nieces and nephews.
