Kathleen A. Dammann
Kathleen A. Dammann of Newton, N.J., formerly of Dingmans Ferry, Pa., died on Friday, July 29, 2016, at Newton Medical Center, Newton. She was 93.
Daughter of the late John and Katherine (Little) Woods, she was born Aug. 9, 1922, in Queens, N.Y. She was married to the late William Dammann.
She was a retired bookkeeper for Walker Funeral Home in Woodhaven, N.Y. She was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Church in Branchville, N.J., and the Wild Acres Senior Citizens, and was a volunteer for the Pike County Library.
Survivors include two daughters, Rita Lazarek of Lindenhurst, N.Y., Linda Cooney of Branchville, N.J.; brother, John “Jack” Woods of Ozone Park, N.J.; and five grandchildren, John, Tracey, Thomas, Kevin, and Lisa.
She was predeceased by three sisters, Marian, Dolores, and Josephine.
A Memorial Mass was celebrated at Our Queen of Peace Church, Branchville, N.J., on Aug. 2, with the Rev. Ed Rama officiating.
Burial will take place at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 9, in Long Island National Cemetery in Pinelawn, N.Y.
