Lewis Merion Meyers

Lewis Merion Meyers of Matamoras, Pa., died on Saturday, June 25, 2016, at home. He was 78.
Son of the late Lewis M. and Doris R. (Earl) Meyers Sr., he was born July 30, 1936, in Stroudsburg, Pa.
He was a retired tree surgeon for Tree Preservation Company, Briarcliff Manor, N.Y.
Survivors include five children, Doris Travis of Matamoras, Pa., Anita Brown of Waterford, ME, Kelly Pelletier of Auburn, Maine, LuAnn List of Chesterfield, Vt., and Frank Travis; brother, David Meyers of Canton, N.Y.; five sisters, Beverly Eagle of Matamoras, Shirley Juiles of Middletown, N.Y., Gwendolyn Gerlach of Quakertown, Pa., Terry McBride of Port Jervis, N.Y., and Rita Quick; twelve grandchildren, Cameron, Dylan, Kyrsa, Mikayla, Jacob, Noah, Joshua, Kimberly, Kevin, Elizabeth, Heather, and Diamond; and several great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brother Carl Meyers.
Services and burial took place at Milford Cemetery, Dingman Township, Pa., privately at the convenience of the family.
