Martyn Leslie Aldridge

Martyn Leslie Aldridge of Shohola, Pa., formerly of Bexley, United Kingdom, died suddenly on Monday, Oct. 16, 2017, at Bon Secours Community Hospital, Port Jervis, N.Y. He was 61.
He was born in Kent, England, on July 8, 1956. He studied Electrical Engineering at Erith College of Technology, Greenwich, UK, Telecommunications Engineering at Lewisham Southwark College, London, UK, Information Technology at The Open University, Milton Keynes, UK and Exploration at The Monroe Institute, Manchester, UK.
He was a contractor and the owner of Martyn L. Aldridge Contracting, Shohola. He had a passion for jewelry making and recently reestablished his company, Wishing Glass, handcrafting beautiful glass earrings and pendants. He also was a talented photographer, musician and actively participated in the music ministry at The Evangelical Presbyterian Church of Milford as the sound engineer.
He is preceded in death by his former wives, Marcia Aldridge and Connie Aldridge; son, Ricky Aldridge; and mother, Shirley Aldridge.
Survivors include his wife, Celeste Aldridge; daughter, Summer Louise Clark Aldridge; grandchildren, Violet Perry, Thomas, Connie and Jakob Aldridge; father, Harold Aldridge; brother, Kevin Aldridge (Colette); niece, Charlotte; parents-in-laws, Marilyn and Michael Neel and Luke Corsano; brothers-in-law, Tony Corsano (Anais), Chris Corsano and Michael Patrick Neel; sisters-in-law, Christiane Mueller (Scott), Susanne Catsman (Werner); and many loving friends, co-workers, and the entire congregation of The Evangelical Presbyterian Church of Milford, who will all miss him very dearly.
The funeral service was held at The Evangelical Presbyterian Church of Milford on Oct. 20, officiated by Pastor Ben Willis. The Committal Service and Burial followed at Milford Cemetery, Milford, Pa.
The family of Martyn Aldridge also wishes to thank Pastor Ben Willis and his wife Amy for their guidance and support, dear friends for their prayers, calls, hugs, sympathies, and comforting dishes brought to our homes, and Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, Port Jervis, for their compassion and assistance during this difficult time.
