Michael F. Greeley passed on , Friday, Jan. 7, 2023, at his home in Warwick. He was 79.
Born in Queens, N.Y., Mike was the son of Harry and Hazel Greeley and brother of Harry Jr.
He attended St. Francis Prep HS, St. Francis College in Brooklyn, and received a Master’s in Education from Manhattan College. His career in education spanned 40 years, highlighted by a role as tenured Professor of Remedial Studies at Hunter College.
Mike was a curious soul with a love of international travel (Europe, China, South America) and antique art. Kindhearted and generous, he cultivated countless close friendships over a good cup of coffee – or five.
Mike is survived by his devoted partner and husband Roger, sons Michael Jr., Dennis and Sean and their mother Doris, stepdaughter Elizabeth, daughters-in-law Vanessa and Susan, nephews Derek and Kyle, and granddaughters Michelle, Teagan and Isaro.
