Olga Christina Hastings, 93 of Milford, Pa., passed away February 28, 2024, peacefully at home due to complications of Alzheimer’s Disease. She worked as a check processor for a finance company called Chemical Bank in New York, NY. In her high school days, Olga was a gifted painter and an accomplished dress maker and quilter. She also enjoyed doing puzzles.
The daughter of the late Pasquale and Rina (Gabriel) Natalizio, Olga (preferred nickname Chris) was born July 24, 1930, in Naugatuck, Conn., She was the loving wife of her husband, John Hastings, who preceded her in death much too early.
Throughout her life Olga was an angel on Earth to those who knew her, and even those who didn’t. She was a very giving person tending to her parents, helping to raise her niece and nephews, raising and sacrificing for her children, caring for family, friends, and strangers alike in their times of need. Olga helped at food pantries and hospice, and contributing to worthwhile causes, she was always willing to lend a hand.
Olga was a devoted mother of four children, grandmother of three, and great-grandmother of four. She is survived by her sons Robert, John, and Christopher; daughter Patricia Ventre (Ralph); grandchildren Patrick Ventre, Kate Josephine Berryhill, and Matthew Ventre; and great-grandchildren Jackson, Blair, Benjamin, and Willow. Olga was predeceased by her husband John, sister Katherine, and brother Dominick. Olga is now resting in eternal peace and happiness with our lord and her husband, John.
