Philip Soultanakis

Philip Soultanakis, an area resident for most of his life, died on Saturday, Aug. 5, 2017, at Orange Regional Medical Center in Wallkill, N.Y. He was 70.
Son of the late George and Stavroula Dakis Soultanakis, he was born on May 4, 1947, in Manhattan.
He was a bus driver for Leprechaun Lines in Newburgh, N.Y. He was a member of St. Paul’s Roman Catholic Church in Bullville, N.Y.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Soultanakis, at home in Middletown; son,John R. Soultanakis of Milford, Pa.; aunt, Nancy Simadris; cousins, Jeffrey and Marcella Simadris; and brothers-in-law, Daniel and Frank Cannon.
He was predeceased by his parents and sister, Evangeline Soultanakis.
Family and friends may call from 4-7 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 9, at the Cornelius, Dodd and Connell Funeral Home, 26 Grove St., Middletown, N.Y. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 10, at St. Paul’s Roman Catholic Church, 2800 Route 17K, Bullville, N.Y. The Rev. Sean Harlow will officiate. Interment will follow in the Wallkill Cemetery, 160 Midway Road, Middletown, N.Y.
