    Philip T. Moricone of Milford died on Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2015, at Belle Reve Senior Living, Milford. He was 85.

    Son of the late Philip and Barbara (D’Orazio) Moricone he was born Nov. 25, 1929, in the Bronx, N.Y. He was married to the late Patricia T. (O’Neill) Moricone.

    He was a retired elevator mechanic for Local Union 1, New York, N.Y., member of St. Patrick’s Church, Milford, and a U.S. Navy veteran.

    Survivors include three sons, Philip Moricone of Derry, N.H., Joseph Moricone of Milford, and Thomas Moricone of Milford; sister, Marie Zackery of Daytona, Fla.; seven grandchildren, Philip, Leila, John, Kelly, Katie, Lizzie, Joseph, Allie, and Edward; and two great-grandchildren, Makayla and Dylan. He was predeceased by two brothers.

    ​Visitation at Stroyan Funeral Home, 405 West Harford St., Milford, was scheduled for Nov. 5from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

    ​A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Patrick’s Church, Milford, on Friday, Nov. 6, at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Gregory Kelly officiating. Burial will follow in Milford Cemetery, Dingman Township.
