Raymond J. Farley Jr.

Raymond J. Farley Jr. of Milford, Pa., formerly of Goshen, N.Y., died Thursday, Nov. 17, 2016, at Good Samaritan Hospital, Suffern, N.Y. He was 69.
Son of Raymond J. Farley and Eileen M. Farley, he was born Aug. 4, 1947, in Manhattan.
He served in the U.S. Navy and was the recipient of three Bronze Stars. He valued his children and grandchildren more than anything else in the world. He had a smile for everyone, was charismatic and had many friends. He moved to Pennsylvania several years ago and became an avid golfer. His new-found Pennsylvania friends became family as well. He retired from Healey Brothers, Middletown, N.Y., as finance manager.
Survivors include his children, Melissa Farley Abraham and husband, Jeffrey, of Goshen, Christopher Farley and fiancee, Lillie, of Virginia, Kimberly Farley Priest and husband, Kelvin, of Middletown, Nicole Heckman and husband, Jason, of Slingerlands, N.Y.; brother, Robert Farley and wife, Katherine Keniry, of Saratoga Springs, N.Y.; sister, Jeanne Farley Warren and husband, Jeffrey. of Newbern, N.C.; nine grandchildren, Makaela and Alex Farley, Hannah Abraham, Alexis Alvarez, Tre and Elijah Priest, Chole, Camilla and Thomas Heckman; one great-grandson, Mikah Farley; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents and brother James Farley.
Visitation was held Nov. 20 at the Donovan Funeral Home, Goshen. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Nov. 21 at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, Goshen. Burial was private and at the convenience of the family.
