Robert Ellery Ashworth

Robert Ellery Ashworth of Westbrookville, N.Y., passed way Saturday, March 24, 2018, at Liberty, N.Y. He was 82.
Son of Harold and Rhea Fellows Ashworth, he was born on July 25, 1935, in Westbrookville, N.Y.
He retired as a laborer from the Town of Mamakating, N.Y., after many years of dedicated service. He married Gail Caskey Ashworth who pre-deceased him, he then married Edith Vandemark Ashworth, who also pre-deceased him.
He is survived by his son, Thomas Ashworth, and his wife, Michelle, of Milford, Pa.; daughter, Maureen Ross of Smallwood, N.Y.; brothers, Harold Ashworth of Westbrookville, Richard Ashworth and his wife, Barbara, of Westbrookville, David Ashworth and his wife, Anne, of Little Mountain, S.C., and Walter Ashworth of Union, Maine; sister, Janet McCarthy of Poughkeepsie, N.Y.; grandchildren, Lauren, Keaton and Ian; several step-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Private services and interment will take place at Rural Valley Cemetery, Cuddebackville, N.Y.
