Theresa I. Fuller

Theresa I. Fuller of Port Jervis, N.Y., passed away Thursday, Oct. 22, 2020, at the Milford Health and Rehabilitation Facility, Milford, Pa. She was 91.

Daughter of Raymond and Irene Eck Guinn, she was born on March 20, 1929, in Port Jervis, N.Y.

She retired as a seamstress from Barbara Quilting in Port Jervis. Theresa was a faithful member of St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, Port Jervis, and a former member of the Catholic Daughters of America, Court Madonna, #114, Port Jervis.

She married Ralph Fuller, who pre-deceased her in 1984.

Theresa is survived by her son Randy Fuller, and his wife, Julie, of Matamoras, Pa.; daughters, Gail Popstein of Montague, N.J., and Cynthia Hammond and her husband, Donald, of Port Jervis; sister Mary Laizure of Omaha, Neb.; brother James Guinn of Matamoras, Pa.; beloved grandchildren, Ryan and Alaina Fuller, Kevin and Regina Popstein, Lyndsay Wiltse and her husband, Cory, Coriann Decker and her husband, Michael, Amanda Fuller and Jennifer Glass; beloved 15 great-grandchildren; her sister-in-law, Barbara Guinn of Milford, Pa.; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved pet cat, Charlie.

Theresa was pre-deceased by her son Michael Fuller; brother Kenneth Guinn, and sister Betty Quick.

Visitation was held Oct. 26 at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, Port Jervis. Prayers followed at the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, Port Jervis, with the Rev. Matthew Newcomb as the celebrant. Interment followed at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church.

Theresa’s family would like to extend a special thank you to the nurses, aids and staff at Milford Senior Care for their kind, compassionate and professional care given to Teresa. The family would also like to thank Jeannett and Kelly, you were truly Mom’s angels. Words cannot say enough and you are forever part of our family.
