Virginia Petri

Virginia Petri of Dingman’s Ferry, Pa., died peacefully at home on Thursday, Sept. 15, 2016. She was 72.
She was a retired beautician.
Daughter of late Dionisio and Ophelia (Puello) Ramilo, she was born on Feb. 5, 1944. She married Dennis Richard Petri on Nov. 3, 1984, in Brooklyn, N.Y. He predeceased her on March 28, 1999.
Survivors include her children, Nichole Petri, Bruce P. Venery Jr., Lisa Perez, Sarina Middaugh and her husband, Raymond, and Keith Venery and his wife, Christina; two brothers, Gabe Soler and Danny Somoza; six sisters, Millie Trezza, Olivia Asaro, Carolina Vega, Vivian Evans, Susan Diaz, and Nancy Providencia; distant brother, Joseph “Joey” Colon; grandchildren, Amanda Joray, Christa Venery, Melissa Venery, Elizabeth Venery, Peter Venery, Brad Middaugh, Todd Perez, Anthony Buckle, Kristian Venery, Cameron Venery, Caleb Venery and Kayden Venery; and great-grandchildren, Jaiden Joray, Tristan Varney, Aliyah Smith and Aviana Middaugh.
She was predeceased by her brother, Philip Dante.
Visitation was held at the Stroyan Funeral Home in Milford, Pa., on Sept. 18. Funeral services were held at the funeral home on Sept. 18, with the Rev. Niels Nielsen officiating.
Burial took place at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, Pa., on Sept. 19.
