David Gari, of Milford, was named to the dean’s list at the State University of New York at New Paltz for the spring 2009 semester. He is a freshman. Jenna M. Ricker, of Dingmans Ferry, was named to the dean’s list at Susquehanna University’s for the spring 2009 semester. She a rising sophomore majoring in communications with an emphasis in journalism and majoring in political science. She is a 2008 graduate of Delaware Valley High School and the daughter of Elizabeth and Ronald Ricker. The fourth annual Marjorie Murphy Award for Service to Fine Arts at Wallenpaupack Area High School has been presented to 2009 graduate Kimberly Truisi, of Hawley. She plans to attend the Art Institute of Pittsburgh to prepare for a career in animation or graphic design. Her parents are Lori Truisi and Michael Truisi. Kathryn Wolfe, of Milford, received a Master of Social Work degree in Social Work within the Graduate College during May commencement ceremonies at the University of Vermont. The following local residents were named to the dean’s list at the University of Scranton for the spring 2009 semester: Amanda L. Beisel, Lackawaxen; Andrea R. DiDio, Dingmans Ferry; Danielle E. Gilson, Matamoras; Angela D. Kokas, Greeley; Kaytlin L. Roholt, Tafton; Kyersten M. Rozanski, Milford; and Shannon R. Webb, Shohola. The following local residents were named to the dean’s list at Kutztown University for the spring 2009 semester: James W. Brasile, Hawley; Catherine M. Bulmer, Shohola; Jessica L. Ellex, Lackawaxen; Mary N. Lord, Dingman’s Ferry; John L. Pandish, Milford; Nicole A. Sirico, Milford; Philip J. Stefany, Milford; Nekeed Upshaw, Bushkill; Nekeeta C. Upshaw, Bushkill; Jessica L. Vicik, Bushkill; Jamey D. Welch, Dingmans Ferry. Two local residents were named to the dean’s list at the University of New Haven for the spring 2009 semester. They are: Kristina Bensley, of Matamoras, and Patrick Romano, of Dingmans Ferry. Stephanie A. Osterberg, daughter of Matthew M. and Carol S. Osterberg, has graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Marketing and a minor in Spanish from Pennsylvania State University-Smeal Business College. Stephanie is employed by the Pepsi Corporation in Altoona/State College, as an associate marketing representative. She is a 2005 graduate of Delaware Valley High School.
