A war of words at Delaware Valley

The annual word wars were on again at the Delaware Valley High School. On May 22, members of the freshman class participated in the competition that consists of five rounds that tests students’ vocabulary ability. This year’s freshman Word War winner was Matthew White. On Wednesday, June 10, the sophomores held their Word War. The winner in this competition was Colleen Fagan. All of the ninth and tenth grade teachers would like to congratulate every student who participated in the competition. It was a huge success and a lot of fun was had while utilizing the vocabularies developed throughout the year.
