Second graders of Delaware Valley Elementary School are pictured with Eastern Pike Regional Police Chief Chad Stewart, left, and Delaware Valley School Resource Officer/Chief Mark Moglia. On May 4, Stewart and Moglia conducted a program titled, “The Back Is Where It’s At.” The program is tailored towards elementary children to teach them the proper way to buckle a seat belt and re-enforces that the back seat of a car is the safest place for them. Stewart and Moglia made six presentations to the first and second grade classes of Mrs. Thiele, Mrs. Mason, Mrs. Lambert, Mrs. Barnes, Mrs. Hiller, and Mrs. Connolly; about 180 students all told.
