SHOHOLA All students in grades Kindergarten through 6 were recently invited to meet at Shohola Elementary School to join a new club to share their love of books over breakfast. The Breakfast Book Club met for six early sessions before school and emphasized fun with friends and reading. Volunteer parents led students through discussions and activities about the chosen book. Participants found that this club gave them the opportunity to work towards their reading requirements for the grading period. Many parents made notice that their children were reading for pleasure for the first time. The club also gave participants an avenue to express their individual opinion about the book being covered.
