Bridge repairs completed

POND EDDY - PennDOT reports that repair work on the Pond Eddy Bridge has been completed. The agency says the bridge’s posting “could” be restored to seven tons after the New Year. Barrels are in place to direct motorists to the center of the bridge. PennDOT spokeswoman, Karen Dussinger, said the reposting of the weight limit was conditional to a new engineering inspection.
