Therapist earns fitness certification PORT JERVIS, N.Y. — Ellen Knapp-Hayden, a physical therapist assistant with Access Physical Therapy and Wellness in Port Jervis, N.Y., has completed course work given by the American Fitness Professionals and Associates and has met all the requirements to be a Certified Senior Fitness Specialist. As an AFPA Senior Fitness Specialist Ellen works with older adults and designs and implements fitness programs that are sensitive to the physical needs of the senior population.
