EPA lead paint certification program MATAMORAS A workshop for the new EPA Renovation, Repair & Painting Rules, will be hosted by Pike County Builders Association, on Sept. 18, at the Hampton Inn in Matamoras, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. A new law is in effect. Avoid large fines. This new rule applies to any renovation to a pre-1978 home which disturbs more than six square-feet of interior or 20 sq.-ft. of exterior of known or presumed lead-based paint. This course is being taught by EnviroEd LLC. The class size is limited, Reservations are a must, call 570-296-5589. The cost is $225 for members. $275 for non-members. Recycling day cancelled HAWLEY The Pike County Builders Association has announced the cancellation of a planned Sept. 25 electronics recycling Day which was to have taken place at the Wallenpaupack Area High School. The cancellation statement said a new date in October will be announced. Webinars to aid Pike County businesses Scranton Too busy to attend a seminar?
