Women to share health stories in hospital's new support group

Honesdale. The peer support group, Stronger Together – Women Supporting Each Other Across the Lifespan, will hold its kick-off meeting at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 28, in Wayne Memorial Hospital’s David Katz Conference Room. Stronger Together is a free, informal support group for women age 18 and older to share personal experiences, coping strategies, and firsthand information on a variety of health topics. Certified nurse-midwife Christina MacDowell of the Women’s Health Center is the facilitator. Meetings will be held on the last Tuesday of each month. Registration is not required.
